Bernice Berman Altman of Smallwood, a homemaker, talented and skillful writer and a lover of the arts, died Tuesday, December 18, 2001.
Mrs. Altman attended New York University. In a family statement, it was said, "All of us will miss her dearly."
She is survived by her husband, Judge Benjamin Altman, at home; three children, Carole Nachamie, Sanford Altman and Abby Luby; five grandchildren, Eric Nachamie, Deirdre Nachamie, Gwen Altman, Arielle Altman and Nicholas Belenko; and a sister, Anita Berman.
Services will be held Sunday at the Riverside Chapel, 76th St. and Amsterdam Ave., Manhattan.
