SULLIVAN COUNTY December 28, 2001 Section IX football coaches recently announced their all-star selections for the 2001 season. Several players from Sullivan County schools were chosen as Class C and Class D all-stars.
In Class C, four Sullivan West players were selected as all-stars. They were: John Compton, Steve Mootz, Kevin Mullally and E. T. Toledo.
One Liberty player, Renauld Buck, was also tabbed as a Class C all-star by the coaches.
In Class D, the coaches took note of outstanding players from Livingston Manor, Roscoe and Tri-Valley.
Manor gridders who earned the all-star accolade were: Remington Parker, John Schleiermacher, George Thomas and Brian Will.
Brian Ballard and Brian Ryder were the Roscoe all-stars.
A trio of Tri-Valley players were named all-stars: Chris Cassidy, Matt Cook and Alex Pearston.
