SULLIVAN COUNTY January 1, 2002 A trio of Tri-Valley cross country runners were recently named to the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Associations (OCIAA) all-league team.
They were Steve Creek, Heather Iatauro and Travis Wolfe.
Creek, who finished fifth in the OCIAA Championship meet at Bear Mountain State Park back in October and 66th at the state championship in November, was named to the first team all-stars.
Iatauro, who captured the OCIAA title and then finished fifth among Class D girls at the state meet, was also chosen for the first team. She was further recognized as the OCIAAs Top Sophomore Runner.
Wolfe was 41st in the boys race at the OCIAA Championship. He was also honored as the OCIAA Top Freshman Runner for the 2001 season.
