Sullivan West Has
Active Golf Day

CALLICOON — May 10, 2002 – It was a split day for the Sullivan West golf team on Monday.
The squad went up against James I. O’Neill (4-2, OCIAA) and the Family School in matches at the Villa Roma Country Club in Callicoon.
The Bulldogs defeated O’Neill, coming in with a score of 220 to the Raiders’ 225 in an OCIAA Division IV match. However, SW lost to The Family School, 229-236 in non-league play.
Against O’Neill, Sean Semenetz led the Bulldogs with a score of 36 and Matt Fulton contributed 44. Joe Winski shot a 45, Josh Staves had a 47 and Matt Kitson shot a 48.
Tony Zoffoli led James I O’Neill with a 43.
The Family School was led to victory by Max Schroeder, who shot a 38, and Kyle Lipnicky, who shot a 45. Ryan Calinan shot a 46, Jeff Amamczyk had a 47 and Mike Fitzgerald shot a 53.
Recording the lowest score for the Bulldogs was Semenetz, who shot a 36. Fulton shot a 44, while Margaret Norden recorded a 49. Ryan Streever shot a 50 and John Compton shot a 57 for SW.
