Truck Driver
Escapes With Life

By Dan Hust
MILESES — January 7, 2003 – An unidentified employee of the Town and Country fuel oil delivery company in Pennsylvania got away with only minor injuries when his truck dropped 80 feet into Hankins Creek in Mileses Friday afternoon.
According to reports and resident Shannon Dee Bailey, who took these photos after the bloodied driver showed up on her doorstep asking to use the phone, the truck slid off County Route 94 at its highest point above a set of waterfalls, plunging 80 feet to the creek below during a serious snowstorm.
No spills were reported.
