MILESES February 21, 2003 For the second time in recent months, a vehicle slid off Co. Route 94 in Mileses yesterday. This accident involved a 1989 Acura and its 16-year-old driver, Alicia Puccini, who was on her way to Sullivan West/ Delaware Valley in Callicoon for her 10th grade classes, according to several residents. Bill Flynn, who was making his U.S. Postal System rounds, was behind Puccini when her car slid on the snow-covered roadway, vaulted over the guardrail (which wasnt touched) and came to rest against a tree about 20 feet down an embankment. Flynn helped an unhurt Puccini out of her badly damaged car. The State Police, Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps, and Hankins-Fremont Center FD responded to the scene, right where an oil delivery truck crashed earlier this year.
