March 18, 2003 – The Family School

Overall Record: 3-17

League Record: 1-9 OCIAA Division V

Top Performers: Junior Joanna Heretick led the Lady Falcon offense, averaging 15 points per game.
Senior Lauren Blythe scored 13 points per game.
Junior Mary Sherrin led the team in rebounding. She averaged 10 rebounds a game.
Blythe grabbed eight rebounds per contest.

Season Highlight(s): “Our win against Livingston Manor,” said Coach Carlton Williams. “It was the first time we have ever beaten Livingston Manor. It was a great game.
“Also our win against Sullivan West. That was a good victory for our program.”

Season Lowlight(s): “Injuries,” Williams said. “In the first part of the season we had two starters out with injuries. They came back and we were healthy for a while. But at the end of the season for our last five league games, we had two starters out. Injuries really plagued us.”

Other: “This was a good group of girls,” Williams said. “Despite our record, it was a good season. We were competitive and lost a couple of close games. Hopefully, we’ll get nine of these girls back for next season.”
