FALLSBURG — May 23, 2003 – In Monday’s non-league varsity baseball twinbill, the Fallsburg Comets (3-12) won both games over the visiting Blue Devils of Roscoe (1-15).
In the opening game, winning pitcher Dave Lucyski ripped an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth to break a 4-4 tie.
Harris Seletsky cracked a couple of hits and picked up an RBI in the Comets’ 5-4 victory over Roscoe.
In the second round of late afternoon action, Fallsburg topped the struggling Blue Devils, 12-7.
Brendan Woodard scored three runs for the Comets, and winning hurler Victor Leventritt had a three-run double.
For Roscoe, Dave Eggleton had a pair of triples and crossed the plate twice.
