Anna Fahs
A memorial service will be held for Anna Fahs, a former resident of Cochecton Center, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg on August 29, following the regular 9:30 a.m. service of the church.
Robert R. Case
UPS Employee, 34
Robert R. Case of Narrowsburg, a lifelong area resident and an employee of UPS, died Friday, August 6, 2004, in Bethel. He was 34 years of age.
The son of Ed and Gail O'Connell, he was born September 9, 1969, in Port Jervis.
A member of Teamster Union Local #177, Mr. Case especially enjoyed sharing outdoor activities with his family. He was a former member of the Narrowsburg Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Maryrose Case, and two daughters, Michelle and Danelle Case, all at home; his parents of Narrowsburg; a sister, Debby Janowski of Narrowsburg; a brother, Allen H. Taylor of St. Cloud, Minn.; three step-brothers, Leonard O'Connell of Leesville, S.C., Edward O'Connell Jr. of Cape Coral, Fla., and James O'Connell of Elizabethtown, Kty.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosemary and Thomas Krzemieniecki of Honesdale, Pa.; two brothers-in-law, Thomas and Robert, both of Honesdale, Pa.; his godparents, Jeanette Kennedy and Ronald Cahall, both of Evans City, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Rasmussen Funeral Home in Narrowsburg with the Rev. Thomas Jones, OFM, officiating.
Private burial will be made in the Beaver Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Dennis M. Brock
Stonecutter, 57
Dennis M. Brock of Downsville, a stonecutter and a lifelong area resident, died Friday, August 6, 2004, at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
The son of the late Donald and Betty Wilbur Brock, he was born January 17 1947, in the Town of Colchester.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rose Beers Brock, at home; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Cheryl Brock of Berne; a daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Benjamin McGowan of Downsville; four brothers, Gary Brock of Fishs Eddy, Frank Brock of Florence, S.C., Martin Brock of Roscoe and Milton Brock of Walton; three sisters, Anna Brock of Roscoe, Susan Shaw of Hamden and Dorothy Brock of Livingston Manor; five grandchildren, Marvin and Zachary Bertholf of Downsville, Shelby McGowan of Downsville and Troy and Krista Brock of Schenectady; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Knorr Funeral Home in Downsville on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Interment will be made in Paige Cemetery in Downsville.
Sidney Sugarman
Sidney Sugarman of Youngsville and Delray Beach, Fla., died Thursday, August 5, 2004.
He was the son of the late Bessie and Benjamin Sugarman.
In a family statement, it was said, "You will be missed more than words can ever express. We love you."
Mr. Sugarman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Sugarman, at home; four daughters and their families, Barbara Kravitz, Jayne and Kenneth Steinglass, Caryn and Jim Andersen and Tracy and Richard Mindess; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two nephews and their wives, Irwin and Yvonne Slobody and Ken and Davida Slobody.
Services were held Sunday at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York City.
Shiva will be held at the home of Jayne and Ken Steinglass in Valley Cottage on Tuesday.

Grace Deighton
Ret. Seamstress, 89
Grace Rumsey Deighton, a retired seamstress for Little Tots, Inc., in Port Jervis and a longtime resident of Port Jervis, more recently of Johnson City, Tenn., died Thursday, August 5, 2004, in Johnson City. She was 89 years of age.
The daughter of the late Elvin and Daisy Moffat Rumsey, she was born November 23, 1915, in Leurenkill. She was the widow of Stanley Deighton.
Mrs. Deighton was a member of Drew United Methodist Church, Neversink Valley Grange #1530, River Valley Chapter #33, Order of the Eastern Star, and The Daughters of America, Council #29, all in Port Jervis.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Shirley Deighton of Conklin Hill, Pa.; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elsie and Paul Majka of Fogelsville, Pa.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
Burial will be made in Conklin Hill Cemetery, Damascus, Pa.
Rita J. Keator
Ret. Bookkeeper, 83
Rita J. Keator, an eight-year resident of Lenox, Mass., and a retired bookkeeper for Spence Engineering in Walden, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004, at Laurel Lake Center in Lee, Mass. She was 83 years of age.
The widow of Frederick Keator Jr., she was born in Walden on March 21, 1921. Mrs. Keator was a 1939 graduate of Walden High School.
Mrs. Keator enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks and in later years spent summers at her cottage in Fallsburg. She attended St. Anne Church in Lenox , Mass.
She is survived by a grandson, Gregory Greshan of Walden; and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Greshan who died in 1993.
Graveside services and burial were held Saturday at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Wallkill.

Marion Manzolillo
Homemaker, 78
Marion Manzolillo of Jeffersonville, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, August 8, 2004, at the Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa. She was 78 years of age.
The daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Schaefer Layman, she was born July 13, 1926, in the Town of Delaware. She was the widow of Anthony "Don" Manzolillo who died November 7, 1996.
Mrs. Manzolillo was a member of St. George's Church in Jeffersonville.
In a family statement, it was said, "She was a very loving and compassionate daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was very creative with ceramics and loved her shells and stone collections."
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Thomas and Linda Manzolillo of Liberty, Teresa and Charles Bendle of Jeffersonville and Tim and Nora Manzolillo of Cochecton; two sisters, Elenor Mall and Helen Schaefer, both of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren, Cherie DeGraw, Karen Davis, Stacey Bendle, Scott Manzolillo, Jessica Manzolillo, Jackie Manzolillo, Kevin Manzolillo and James Manzolillo; and four great-grandsons, Justin and Jacob DeGraw, and Tyler and Jared Davis.
Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. George's Church in Jeffersonville at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Father Ignatius Vu officiating.
Burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery in Youngsville.
