Ana Quinones
Cashier, 25

Ana Quinones of Hurleyville, a cashier at Velero in Monticello, died Monday, November 22, 2004, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 25 years of age.
The daughter of Susan Lewis Quinones and the late Arturo Roman "Tutu" Quinones, she was born July 21, 1979, in Harris.
In a family statement, it was said, "Ana was a very loving person who loved everyone she met and everyone loved her."
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Herman Failing, both of Hurleyville; two brothers, Arturo and Matthew Quinones of Hurleyville; two sisters, Rosemary and Christi Quinones of Hurleyville; her best friend, Rebecca Konikowski of Hurleyville; her companion, John Wood of Hurleyville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held Wednesday at the Colonial Memorial Funeral Home in Woodbourne.

Audrey R. Loeven
Ret. Bookkeeper, 78

Audrey R. Loeven of Otisville, a lifelong area resident and a bookkeeper for Stern's and Carol Jenkins in Middletown until her retirement in 1977, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at the Horton campus of the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 78 years of age.
The daughter of the late Harrison and Alice Olcott Roosa, she was born May 13, 1926, in Wurtsboro. She was the widow of Kenneth Loeven who died in February of 2001.
Mrs. Loeven was active in the Otisville Seniors Club, the Otisville Garden Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Otisville Democratic Club, the Orange County Board of Elections and Meals on Wheels of Otisville.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Loeven of Otisville; two brothers, Bertsall Roosa of Monticello and Frank Roosa of Wurtsboro; two sisters, Mardell Auer of Wurtsboro and Marie Woodruff of Napanoch; two grandchildren, Andrea Sartiano and Maj. Kenneth Pinkela; and three great-grandchildren, Joleigh and Kendall Sartiano and Sydney Pierce. She was predeceased by two brothers, Elmer and Charlie Roosa, and three sisters, Mary Roosa, Genevieve Romer and Lorraine Middleton.
Friends may call at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave., Middletown on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Saturday with Fr. Peter Tran Van Phat officiating.
Cremation will be private.

Jean Carman
Ret. Sales Clerk, 76

Jean Neumann Carman of Parksville, a retired sales clerk in the shoe department at the former Sullivan's Department Store in Liberty and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, November 23, 2004, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 76 years of age.
The daughter of the late Jacob and Mildred Cronk Neumann, she was born April 12, 1928 in Callicoon Center.
Mrs. Carman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Loch Sheldrake.
She is survived by her husband, John Carman, at home; three sons, Mark Carman of Parksville, Wayne Carman of North Branch and Scott Carman of Liberty; two daughters, Sherri Kavleski of Liberty and Penny Blume of Liberty; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jodi Sprague, a sister, Mildred Stephenson and a brother, Edwin "Butch" Neumann.
Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Carl Caskey officiating.
Bural will be made in the Callicoon Center Cemetery.

Edna B. Hulse
Ret. Teacher, 88

Edna B. Hulse of Bethel, a retired teacher for the Bodkin Elementary School in Ann-Arundel, Md., died Monday, November 22, 2004, at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. She was 88 years of age.
The daughter of the late Frank S. and Lulu Knapp Brown, she was born April 20, 1916, in Bethel. She was the widow of Charles M. Hulse.
Mrs. Hulse was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, AARP and the National Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles F. and Phyllis Hulse of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Stephen F. and Cindy Hulse of Bainbridge, Pa; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Ford Brown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Bethel Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Alex McLean officiating
Burial will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel.
