This was a very good game for us, said Fallsburg Coach Lee Smassanow. We were two well-matched teams, and the girls played their hearts out.
Coach Smassanow singled out a few players for praise in the match against the Lady Falcons. Jillian Jonas had a really good game in front of the goal
Abby Smassanow in the goal and with her towering punts back to midfield
[and] Jen Orlan had a really good game in the middle.
It was a pleasure to watch them today, he added. They really got out there and hustled.
Its too bad we didnt win, but thats how it goes, Smassanow commented.
Family School Coach Joe Lichty said the win for good for his squad.
The girls played well and worked very hard for the goal we got, he said.
