SULLIVAN COUNTY — March 11, 2005 – Polls will be open from noon to 9 p.m. in five of the county’s six villages during this Tuesday’s Election Day (for village residents only).
Offices up for election are as follows:
Monticello
Trustee (one-year seat):
• Republican – David Rosenberg
• Democrat and Independent – Gordon Jenkins
• Conservative – Jeff Sternberg
Wurtsboro
Mayor:
• Wurtsboro First – Robert Whitehead (incumbent)
• Republican and Good Neighbor – Edward Handford
Trustee (two-year term, one seat):
• Wurtsboro First – John Klein
Liberty
Mayor:
• Democrat – William “Rube” Smith (incumbent)
• Clean Water – Diane Atkins
Trustee (two-year term, two open seats):
• Democrat – Joan Stoddard (incumbent)
• Democrat – Allan Berube (incumbent)
Jeffersonville
Mayor:
• Ed Justus (incumbent)
