HARRIS June 3, 2005 The game was afoot at Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) on Wednesday, June 1 as the local medical facility and Sullivan County BOCES teamed up to co-host "Curious Students Investigating" (CSI) in an educational and fictitious crime-solving takeoff on the popular CBS television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
The 6th-12th graders had an opportunity to explore a few of the many heath field careers and along the way learned how cops use clues to solve crimes.
The event was made possible by grant funding from the Catskill Hudson Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
Health Career Day 2005 was organized by Jodi Goodman and Candy Gatta, BOCES Health Academy/New Vision instructor.
Sessions included laboratory, microscope, coroner, police crime-solving, suturing and first aid/CPR.
