Jamboree Is Fun
For All Ages

JEFFERSONVILLE — August 9, 2005 – The Jeff Jamboree had Jeffersonville jamming Saturday, with activities throughout the day on the village’s busy Main Street. A parade, featuring Grand Marshal Don Hauschild kicked off the festivities to the delight of the children. Lauren Corcoran, 3, had the best seat in the house, right atop mom Andrea’s shoulders. The Corcorans were camped out in front of their store, the Little Yellow Duckhouse while Ray Boyd of Callicoon and granddaughter Grace Boyd, 1 1/2, claimed their own spot nearby – right in front of Ray’s daughter Cathy’s store, The Pantry. Families browsed the shops and booths set up by local crafters, stopped by the Main Street Stage to groove to some live jazz and took in a puppet show, gallery talk and book signing. Ayden Lowitz of North Branch gave a thumbs up to the grub at the luau at the First Presbyterian Church. The 3-year-old came with mom Maureen “just to check it out.”
