Memorial Service
For Margaret Warren

A memorial service celebrating the life of Margaret McCarrell Warren who died March 10, 2005, at her home in Sundown, will be held on Sunday, May 29, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Sundown. She was 87 years of age.
Family and friends will gather at the church hall directly following the service.
Donations in her memory may be directed to the Amber Fund for emergency pet care, c/o Rondout Valey Veternarian Association, 6006 Route 209, Kerhonkson, N.Y. 12446.

Franklin Norris, 62

Franklin “Frank” Norris of Loch Sheldrake died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at his home. He was 62 years of age.
The son of the late Willie and Mary Lee Hendricks Norris, he was born October 18, 1942, in Prichard, Ala.
He is survived by hs wife, Della Loucks Norris, at home; two sons, Franklin Norris Jr., at home and Peter Alsdorf and his wife, Lynette of Woodridge; four daughters, Kayla Norris, at home, Jachema Norris of New City, Ceceila Pope and her husband, Douglas, of Whistler, Ala., and Sandra Landon and her husband, Joe, of Prichard, Ala.; a sister, Betsy Charter of California; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Sam Brown, and a sister, Tomale Norris.
Friends may call at the First Baptist Church, Main St., South Fallsburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Anthony Black officiating.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Colonial Memorial Funeral Home in Woodbourne.

Helga ‘Jean’ Haramis
Ret. Restaurateur, 64

Helga “Jean” Haramis of Selinsgrove, Pa., a retired restaurateur and a former resident of Callicoon, died Monday, May 16, 2005, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., from injuries sustained when she was struck down by a truck while walking in a crosswalk on Sunday afternoon. She was 64 years of age.
The daughter of Eugenia Millan and the late Walter Wetzke, she was born January 31, 1941, in New York City.
She was a graduate of Cathedral High School in New York City. She and her husband have been in the restaurant business for more than 35 years. Most recently, she was the owner of Kinsfolks Family Restaurant in Selinsgrove. She was named Businesswoman of the Year from the Republican Party in 2004.
In a family statement, it was said, “Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend, who cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jean loved reading, traveling, walking, cooking, music, dancing. . . she was an avid lover of art. She enjoyed visiting museums and decorating her home.”
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Haramis, at home; a son, Michael; two daughters, Stephanie and Kelly and three grandchildren, Valarie, Stephen and Katy.
