WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS July 15, 2005 In Tuesday nights Sullivan County Womens Softball League (SCWSL) game, Dutchs dominated Cobblers by a final score of 17-2.
The game was played at Gary A. Bradley Memorial Field, located at the local firemans park in White Sulphur Springs.
Dutchs jumped out to five-run lead in the top of the first.
At their turn at-bat in the second frame, Cobblers grabbed a run back, only to see it erased by the opposition in the third as Dutchs scored once to take a 6-1 advantage.
Dutchs scored three runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and sent seven across the plate in the sixth inning.
In the bottom of the sixth, Cobblers (4-7) scored once.
The game was then halted due to the SCWSLs 15-run mercy rule.
Dutchs improved to 4-8 on the season, while Cobblers fell to 4-7.
