To Be Proud Of'

FALLSBURG — January 3, 2006 – The Fallsburg Comet Pop Warner Cheerleading teams enjoyed a very successful season this past autumn.
In October, the Fallsburg Junior Pee Wee cheerleading team finished second at the Mid-Hudson Cheerleading Conference competition. The Fallsburg Junior Midgets cheerleading squad earned a third place award at the same event.
At the Empire State Classic, which was held in November in Albany, the Fallsburg Pee Wee cheerleading squad came home with the championship trophy.
On December 3, all of the cheerleaders, their coaches, parents and family members held an end-of-season celebration at Fallsburg High School.
“This year, all of our girls went on to competitions and each team came home with a trophy,” said Kiffanie Rodgers, who is the Fallsburg Comets Pop Warner Cheerleading Coordinator. “So we have a lot to be proud of this past season.”
