Search continues for missing woman

NARROWSBURG — At press time, The New York State Police in Liberty continued their search for Gail Greico-Weishoff of Staten Island. Greico-Weishoff was in Narrowsburg visiting family and was last seen late Wednesday night on October 28 Her purse was later found along the Delaware River in Narrowsburg.
Yesterday, NYSP K-9 Units, NYSP aviation and a NYSP Scuba Unit searched numerous locations in Narrowsburg and points downstream on the Delaware River.
The Town of Tusten Highway Department assisted in the investigation with earth moving equipment to move brush along the riverbank on Second Ave. The National Park Service is also assisting in the investigation.
“We’re surmising that she went into the river,” said Senior Investigator Mike Orrego, “and it was moving [swiftly] over the weekend.”
