Frances B. Gusty, 88
June 8, 1922 – Sept. 22, 2010

Frances B. Gusty of Mongaup Valley, the widow of George Gusty, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Stanton Nursing Center in Glen Falls, New York. She was 88.
The second of four children, Frances was born on June 8, 1922 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Joseph and Frances Stiles Erion.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Nastro of Mongaup Valley, and Robert T. and Barbara King of Queensbury; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Joan Dailey.
She was predeceased by her son Woodrow King; her daughter Judith Reynolds; two grandsons; her two brothers, Joseph and Edwin Erion; and her sister, Veronica Badum.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25 at the VanInwegen-Kenny Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello, New York.
A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Terry William Girard
Retired Carpenter, 65

Terry W. Girard of Chesterfield, Va., formerly of Youngsville, died at his home Sunday, September 19, 2010. He was 65.
The son of the late William and Florence Inderlied Girard, he was born February 13, 1945 in Loomis Hospital, Liberty.
He graduated from Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; a son, Keith Girard of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Kim Girard of North Branch; two grandchildren, Kourtney and Kaitlynn; a sister, Diane Hess of North Branch; a brother, Gene Girard and wife Bonnie of North Carolina and Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Arthur Scullion.
Funeral services were held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Va.
