Arlene G. Stephenson of Tampa, Fla. passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was born April 10, 1931 in Jeffersonville, NY.
She was predeceased by her mother, Grace Baum, and her brother, Roger Baum.
She is survived by her three children: Robert (Judy) Stephenson, Cheryl (Howard) Beckert, Grace (Robert) Wakefield; four grandchildren: Alicia Felton, Laura Beckert, Michelle (Eddy) Sanchez, Douglas (Jennifer) Wakefield; four great-grandchildren: Kelsey Felton, Kristen, Tara and Christopher Wakefield; and one great-great granddaughter, Tracy Wakefield.
Arlene spent many years as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service and retired in 1991.
Arlene enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, participating in their many activities. Her favorite spot was Sanibel and she enjoyed walking the beach and seeing the glorious sunsets.

Retired Salesperson, 86
Juliette M. Vlimas of Cochecton, a former sales person, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Catskill Regional Medica5l Center in Harris. She was 86.
The daughter of Henry and Louise Degree Martin, she was born March 3, 1924 in New Bedford, Mass. She was married to Peter J. Vlimas.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lake Huntington.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Vlimas, at Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty; her daughter Nancy Davis and her husband, William, of Polk City, Fla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 and Friday, Oct. 1, at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church in Lake Huntington. Fr. Bill Scully, OFM, will officiate.
Burial will be in Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
