Marian Edith Brucher Campbell, 87
March 27, 1923 - October 16, 2010

Marian Edith Brucher Campbell, after a short illness, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 with her family around her.
She was born March 27, 1923 to Lillian and Andrew Brucher in Black Lake, New York, the youngest of seven children. She was married to Robert Campbell on February 5, 1944 at GunterArmy Airfield in Montgomery, Alabama.
She is survived by her husband and four children: Major USA Ret. William (Frieda) in Stuttgart, Germany; Thomas (Stephanie) in Charleston, SC; Judith (Gary) in Lynnwood, Wash.; and James (Mary) in Lakewood, Wash.; also 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Marian was a very devoted wife and mother as they moved around the world as an Air Force family. She was an avid golfer, and was a member of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club. She was also a very active bowler and enjoyed knitting and ceramics. In later years she enjoyed traveling in their motorhome while spending the winters in California.
The family wants to express sincere appreciation to the Critial Care Units of St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Washington and Regional Hospital in Tukwila, Wash. for their outstanding and compassionate care for Marian.
At her request, there will be no services or celebrations.
Her internment will be in Tahoma National Cemetery with Neptune Society responsible for arrangements.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Peter’s Memorial Foundation and Regional Hospital Memorial Foundation.

Ronald L. Goodman, 54
May 24, 1956 - November 12, 2010

Ron Goodman of Walnut Creek, Calif., formerly of Monticello, NY, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 after a brief illness.
Ron was born May 24, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Manny and Edith Goodman. He lived in Walnut Creek, California, but spent each summer in the favorite place of his youth, Sullivan County.
Ron is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Janet, and their two children, Jesse and Robin; his parents, Manny and Edith Goodman of Lansman’s in Woodbourne and Boynton Beach, Fla.; and his sister and brother-in-law, Jodi and Steve Krifchin, and nieces Ali and Maegan in Long Island.
Ron retired at age 46 to be with his children as they grew up. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17 at the Star of David Chapel on Pinelawn Rd. in Farmingdale, NY.
Internment will be private at New Montifiore Cemetery in Farmingdale.
The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Jodi and Steven Krifchin in Bellmore, N.Y.
