Helen Dresch, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Howard and Jessie Yeomans, she was born on April 5, 1929 in Monticello, NY.
Helen was a retired clerk for Shoprite in Monticello. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent many winters as a snowbird, traveling around the country.
Survivors include her son, Ralph B. Soule and his companion Diane Kern of Swan Lake; her daughter, Virginia Soule of Swan Lake; her brother, Richard Yeomans and his wife Joan of Swan Lake; her sister, Lillian Gabriel of Maryland; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Clifford Soule.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake.
Funeral services will be held at Ramsay’s Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wedneday, January 7, 2009.
Cremation will be made at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
