Alice E. Ellmauer
Homemaker, 105

Alice E. Ellmauer of Youngsville, NY, died February 1, 2009 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. A lifelong resident of the area, she was 105 years of age.
The daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Huff Abel Hardenburg, she was born January 29, 1904 in Youngsville.
She was the widow of William Thomas Ellmauer who passed away in 1978.
Mrs. Ellmauer was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church in Youngsville, and a member of the Ladies Aide of the church. She had celebrated her 105th birthday on Thursday, January 29, 2009.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ardizzone of Jeffersonville, NY; Alice Elberth and her husband Wayne of Neversink, NY; Lillian Hanslmaier and her husband George of New Berlin, NY; Lee Ellmauer and his wife Barbara, and Leo Ellmauer and his wife Carol, all of Youngsville; Sally Eronimous and her husband Thomas of Swan Lake, NY; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Arthur Ardizzone.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 4 at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Andrews officiating.
Burial will be made in Greenhill Cemetery in Youngsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Reformed Church, in care of Patricia Norris, PO Box 251, Youngsville, NY 12791.

Leonard “Lee” Pashkow
Avid Outdoorsman

Leonard “Lee” Pashkow of White Lake, NY, and Melbourne Beach, Fla., passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009.
A family statement reads, “He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Harley enthusiast. Lee lived life to the fullest as best characterized by Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way.’”
Lee is survived by his longtime companion Barbara Steinberg and her family, Rich (Denise) Hugel, Victoria and Richie; Ann (Tony) Carmeci, Anthony and Dominic; his brother, Paul (Susan) Pashkow; his daughter, Marci Peckerman; and his son, Alan (Beverly) Earle and Shannon, and also by many old-time friends.
At Lee’s request there will be no services. A celebration of Lee’s life will be planned at a later date.
