Philip Block
Former Oper., Mt. Dairies, 94

Philip Block, 94, of Tucson, Ariz. passed away November 28, 2009. He was born in Monticello, NY, son of the late Robert and Minnie (Bennet) Block.
Mr. Block spent most of his life in Monticello, and along with his late brother, Joseph, operated Mountain Dairies in Monticello until 1984. He continued to work for the new owners during summers until 2004, and in 2005, he celebrated his 90th birthday with family and friends at Kutsher’s Country Club. He has resided in Tucson for the last 18 years.
He leaves his sons, Michael (Olga) Block of Tucson, and Gene (Carol) of Los Angeles, Calif. He was the proud grandfather of Robert Block, Tamara Block, Ian Block and Megan Thiel.
Philip was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Roslyn K. Block, on May 14, 2007.
Graveside services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson  Sunday, November 29, with Rabbi Stephanie Aaron officiating.
