Henry ‘Hank’ Bryant
Ret. Construction Foreman, 69

Henry “Hank” Bryant of Liberty, NY, a retired construction foreman for Local #17 in Newburgh, NY, and a longtime area resident, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY, after a long courageous battle with cancer, with his family and friends at his side. He was 69.
The son of the late Richard and Agnes King Bryant, he was born March 30,1940 in Uniontown, Alabama.
Hank is a former member of the Neversink Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In a family statement it was said, “Hank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.”
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Florie Leider Bryant at home; one son, Scott Bryant and his wife Grace of Hopewell Junction, NY; one daughter, Tracey Cunningham of Danbury, CT; one brother, Richard Bryant of Middletown, NY; three sisters, Constance Taylor of Uniontown, AL, Mary Adamson of So. Fallsburg, NY, and Louise Forrest of New York City, NY; two grandchildren, Renee Cunningham and Grant Bryant; one sister-in-law, Joanie Leider of Los Angeles, CA; and his mother-in-law, Sylvia Leider of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Memorial contributions in Hank’s name may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.

Cindy Zylstra, 58

Memorial services will be held for Cindy Zylstra, age 58, of New York Mills, Minnesota on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in New York Mills, Minnesota with Reverend Muriel Hachfeld officiating. The hymns will be sung by the congregation, accompanied by Lou Legried.
Cindy Lea Kasma was born on February 13, 1951 in Wadena, Minnesota. Her parents are Helen Ida (Perala) and the late LeRoy Alvin Kasma. Cindy grew up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.  She attended St. Louis Park High School and graduated with the Class of 1969. After High School she moved to Sparta, New Jersey, she was employed at a Daycare Center and Laundromat. In 1973 Cindy was united in marriage to Donald Age Zylstra in Crystal, Minnesota. Cindy and Don made their home in Cochecton, New York, where they farmed. They enjoyed traveling the world where they adopted their loving children in Romania and South Korea. In 2004, Don retired from farming and they made their home in New York Mills, Minnesota. Cindy enjoyed knitting, puzzles, collecting bells and spoons. She always had a smile on her face and was an active member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in New York Mills. On December 21, 2009 Cindy passed away at her home at 58 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Cindy in death were her father, LeRoy, and her infant daughter, Sara.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Donald Zylstra of New York Mills; her mother, Helen Perala of Perham; daughters: Rodica Zylstra of Pompana Beach, Florida; Ramona Zylstra of Frazee; Gabriela Zylstra of New York Mills; son: Adam Zylstra of Bluffton; grandchild, Tristan Bunker; sisters: Lynn Kasma of New York Mills; Deb (Jack) Loza of Minong, Wisconsin; Kim Kasma of Matagorda, Texas; brothers:  Lonnie Kasma of Perkins, Mississippi; Charles (Tammy) Kasma of New York Mills; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.

Gloria M. Fraley
Homemaker, 81

Gloria M. Fraley of Hurleyville, NY, a homemaker and a 60-year area resident, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at her home. She was 81.
The daughter of the late Raymond E. and Blanche Gilligan Sheperd, she was born August 31, 1928 in New Rochelle, NY.
Gloria enjoyed putting together puzzles.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Fraley of Woodbourne, NY, Kenneth J. Fraley and his wife Nancy of Swan Lake, NY, and Robert Fraley and his wife Georgette of Wallkill, NY; three daughters, Eileen Noyce and her companion Dan Herbison of Albuquerque, NM, Kathleen Buhr and her husband James of Hereford, AZ, and Tracy Merklin and her husband Timmy of Hurleyville, NY; ten grandchildren, Laineie Yennie, Jade Noyce, Patricia Marcell, Danielle Buhr, Michael Buhr, John Buhr, Robert Buhr, Joshua Fraley, Jordan Merklin, and Kristopher Merklin; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and volunteers of Orange-Sullivan Hospice for their loving care and support.
Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the New Presbyterian Cemetery in Jeffersonville, NY.
