Hazel Coddington Comfort
Retired Clerk, 93
Hazel Coddington Comfort, a lifetime resident of Liberty, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, Pa. She was 93.
The daughter of Wilmot and Rella Freer Coddington, she was born on October 28, 1914 in the Town of Fallsburg.
Hazel was retired from a position as a clerk at Yaun Co. in Liberty. She was the widow of Ray Comfort.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Coddington.
Friends may call today, June 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty.
Services will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bridgette LeConey officiating.
Burial will be in Hurleyville Cemetery, Hurleyville.

Ksenia Raczynska
Retired Matron, 85
Ksenia Raczynska of Jeffersonville, a retired Matron at P.S.#2 in Manhattan, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at home. She was 85.
The daughter of Nicholas and Anna Demczyn, she was born on February 23, 1923 in the Ukraine.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Raczynski and his wife, Eva of Kerhonkson, her daughter, Mary Bellock and her husband, Michael of Cochecton; her grandchildren, Michael Raczynski, Katherine Raczynska, Tamara Raczynska, Paul Raczynski, Melissa Bellock, and Heather Bellock.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emil Raczynski.
A Funeral Mass will be held today, Tuesday, June 10 at Holy Trinity Church in Kerhonkson at 9:25 a.m.
Burial will be in Pine Bush Cemetery Ukranian Section, Kerhonkson.

George Joseph Quinn
Sullivan West Sophomore, 17
George Joseph Quinn of Callicoon, a sophomore at Sullivan West High School in Lake Huntington and a 4-year resident of the area, died Friday, June 6, 2008 in Callicoon. He was 17.
The son of Jeffrey and Dawn D’Amato Quinn, he was born on October 26, 1990 in Staten Island, NY. George was an avid skateboarder who loved his music.
Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey and Dawn D’Amato Quinn; two brothers, Jeffrey and Bryan Quinn; his maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and Richard D’Amato; his paternal grandmother, Theresa Quinn; his aunts and uncles, Sandra and Richard Quinn; Victor, Kathy and Nicholas D’Amato; and many, many cousins and friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 11 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Callicoon, from 10 a.m. to noon, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, on Route 97, in Callicoon. Father Ignatius Smith, OFM will officiate.
Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
