Hazel B. Danzer
Homemaker, 92

Hazel B. Danzer of Warner Robins, Georgia, a homemaker formerly of Youngsville, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Houston County Medical Center in Warner Robins. She was 92.
The daughter of Elmer and Julia Vollerston Bryan, she was born September 13, 1918 in Youngsville. She was the widow of William Danzer who died in 2002.
Hazel was an avid golfer, a member of the Youngsville United Reformed Church, and the Youngsville Fire Dept.’s Ladies Auxiliary. She was a bookkeeper for Danzer’s Garage in Youngsville for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Diann Jamieson of Youngsville; two sons, Craig Danzer and his wife Cherie of Oswego and Bryan Danzer and his wife Frances of Warner Robins, Ga.; six grandchildren, Lisa Cook, Kim Crowley, Charles Danzer, Jayne Danzer, David Danzer, Casey Danzer; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Verna Kimmes at Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty; two brothers, Lloyd Bryan and his wife Lorraine of Montgomery, Ala. and Victor Bryan and his wife Doris of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Robert Danzer and his wife Evelyn of Louisburg, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Norman Jamieson; one sister, Ethel Edwards; and by one brother, Herbert Bryan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at the funeral Home with Virginia Bossley officiating.
Burial will be made in the Youngsville Presbyterian Cemetery in Youngsville.

Arthur Dean Smith
Former Village of Liberty Water Dept. Employee, 86

Arthur Dean Smith, 86, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Oroville, CA.
The son of Harold and Edna Smith, he was born September 18, 1925 in Parksville.
He worked for the Village of Liberty Water Department for 27 years. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the second Marine Division.
Arthur was married to Eva Jane from 1949 to 1960, and to Arietta from 1965 until her death in 2009. This same year he went to live with his daughter Helen Smith in Oroville, CA.
He is survived by two daughters in Oroville, California, Helen Smith and Mary Perkett; four step-children, Robert and Richard Muzuruk, Dorothea Madison, and Regina Weinberger; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty.
Arrangements are being handled by Scheer Memorial Chapel in Oroville, CA.
