Frederick J. Brustman
Retired Dairy Farmer, 95

Frederick J. Brustman of Obernburg, a retired dairy farmer and lifetime area resident, died November 9, 2011 at Roscoe Community Nursing Home in Roscoe. He was 95.
The son of Jacob and Mary Sator Brustmann, he was born August 25, 1916 in Obernburg. He was the widower of Evelyn Theadore Brustman.
Mr. Brustman was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Obernburg.
He is survived by a son, Paul Brustman and his wife Ruth of Obernburg; his grandson, Brian Brustman and his wife Lori; great-granddaughter, Taylor Brustman, all of Obernburg; his brothers, William Brustman of Obernburg, Clarence Brustman and his wife Rita of New Haven, Conn.; his sister, Ida Watson of Youngsville; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Brustman of Jeffersonville and Helen Brustman of Liberty; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, George and Joseph Brustman and by three sisters, Barbara Cogar, Marie Jacobs, and Catherine Whatley.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Mary’s Church in Obernburg. Father Joseph Jeracek, OFM, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Obernburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
