Leslie Knickerbocker
Secretary at Sullivan County BOCES, 60

Leslie Knickerbocker of New Bern, North Carolina, and formerly of Jeffersonville, NY, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. She was 60.
She was a secretary at Sullivan County BOCES.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Knickerbocker; one son, Ted Knickerbocker of Pittsburgh, PA; one daughter, Traci Knickerbocker of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Dale R. Krauss of Bay Shore, NY; one sister, Barbara K. Summerlin of Lynchburg, VA; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Cotten Chapel in New Bern, NC.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, 930 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

Carmen G. Rojas
July 17, 1917 - November 15, 2011

Carmen G. Rojas of Forestburgh, a longtime area resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 94.
The daughter of the late Antonio Morales and Maragarita Guardiola, she was born July 17, 1917 in Puerto Rico. Carmen was the widow of Oscar Rojas who died in 2002.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Forestburgh and belonged to the Forestburgh Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her two sons, Roy Rojas and his wife Martha of Forestburgh and Richard Rojas and his wife Eileen of West Babylon, NY; five grandchildren, Denise Burgio, Ricky E. Rojas, Michael R. Rojas, Bryan L. Rojas and Melissa F. Eger; and three great-grandchildren, Deanna Burgio, Timothy Burgio and Kerian Eger. She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Elliott and Ralph Morales, and three sisters, Dolly Ramirez, Petra Morales and Maria Morales.
Friends may call at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 19 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Forestburgh. Fr. Ivan Csete will officiate.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Village, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center, P.O. Box 515, Harris, NY 12742.
Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay’s Funeral Homes Inc. Monticello, NY.
