Elvina Maria “Rusty”Myers
8-17-1922 - 3-24-2012

Our beloved Mother, Nana and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 24, 2012.
She was born on August 17, 1922 to Ernest P. and Maria Christina Russell in Henniker, NH.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Dagmar Brickley, and her brother Nelson Russell.
She is survived by her children: Christina Bilick, Richard Myers and Janet Goble, her grandchildren: Jonathan Harting, Summer Bilick, Matthew Bilick, Joshua Bilick and Sarah Goble, her great granddaughter: Serena Harting, many in-laws, nieces and nephews and special friends Alice Scott, the Keesler family, and Rick and Liz Zirpoli.
Rusty attended Bryant & Stratton Commercial School in Boston Ma. and was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii as a Pharmacist’s Mate from 1943 to 1945. She married Carroll R. Myers in 1946 and divorced in 1966. She worked for the Postal Service in Cochecton, and the Black Horse Inn as a singing waitress and went on to become a nurse through the LPN two year program and went to work at Monticello Hospital and CRMC Grover Hermann Division.
