Robert S. Durland
Formerly of Monticello, NY

Robert S. Durland of East Aurora, NY, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY, beloved husband of 61 years to Elizabeth (Holze) Durland; loving father to Robert W. (Carrie), Sue Galbraith; grandfather of Megan (Morgan) Smith, Rob Galbraith, Weston and Brooke Durland; son of the late Wesley and Gladys (Chase) Durland; brother of the late Marjorie (William) Smith and the late Alberta (William) Richardson.
A memorial service will be held at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY, on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 1 p.m.
Burial services will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263).

Gladys E. Zane
Ret. Bank Manager, 74

Gladys E. Zane of Roscoe, NY, a retired branch manager for the Fleet Bank in Roscoe and a lifelong resident, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her home. She was 74.
The daughter of the late George and Blanche M. Bleakley Marks, she was born July 10, 1937 in Roscoe, NY.
Gladys was a member of the United Church of Roscoe and a member of the church choir, a member and treasurer of the Salvation Army Local Service Club, a former member of the Riverview Cemetery Association, a former member of the Rockland Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Richard “Ricky” Zane and his wife, Patricia, of Franklin, NC, and Dennis Zane of Fishkill, NY; two sisters, Sharon Maus of Harris, NY, and Elaine DeWitt of Livingston Manor, NY; one grandson, Donnavan Zane; one great-grandson, Charles “CJ” Zane; one great-granddaughter, Lilliana Zane; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles “Chucky”; a granddaughter, Brittny; a grandson, Charles “Chas”; and a sister, Janice Marks.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.
Funeral Services will be Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
