Former Seamstress, 90

Elfriede Meyers of Hortonville, NY, a former seamstress for NOVA Sportswear in Callicoon and a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center Liberty. She was 90.
Elfriede was born February, 2, 1922 in Germany, the daughter of the late Paulina Kaminski. She was the widow of John M. Meyers.
She was a member of the Hortonville Presbyterian Church and the Callicoon Senior Citizens.
Elfriede is survived by a sister, Lani Swartz; one son, Samuel Meyers; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Christine Meyers; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John W. Meyers.
There will be no visitation.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Hortonville Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Pam Allen will officiate.
Burial will be in the Hortonville Cemetery, Hortonville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to the charity of ones choice.
