Mr. Gregory Antony Bodnaruik of Glen Spey, NY, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 47.
He was born June 13, 1964 in Queens, NY, the son of the late Walter and the late Christina Micheals Bodnaruik.
Greg worked as a Truck Driver for many trucking companies as well as for himself for many years.
He currently was on the Town of Lumberland Planning Board as well as the Town of Lumberland Environmental Council.
A family statement read: “Greg was a loving husband, devoted father, and caring son. He was always there to lend a helping hand. As an extended member of the 4H Club, he used his driving experience to bring animals to horse shows and also to the fair to help set up. He enjoyed being active in all of his children’s activities. Greg also had a love for toys. You would always be able to find him boating on the lake, water skiing, snowmobiling and working on any automobile, especially his red Farm-all Tractor. He will be greatly missed.”
Surviving are his loving wife, Cheri Bodnaruik, and their two daughters, Tomara and Adeline, at home; one son, Antony Bodnaruik and his wife, Ruth, and their daughter, Hailey, of Souderton, PA; one sister, Laura Henry and her husband, Hector, and their two sons, Viktor and Himel, of Concord, NC; and many friends.
Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. & 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 8 p.m. at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Hotzler officiating.
Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
