Evelyn B. Knoll
Ret. from New York Telephone Co., 99

Evelyn B. Knoll of Livingston Manor, NY, formerly of Jeffersonville, passed away at the Roscoe Health Care Facility in Roscoe, NY, on Thursday, May 24, 2012. She was 99.
The daughter of the late Joshua C. and Anna Shaver Reynolds, she was born February 7, 1913 in South Fallsburg, NY. She was the widow of Clayton Knoll.
She retired from the New York Telephone Company in 1968 with 39 years of service. Some of those years she served as the Chief Operator in the Jeffersonville Office. She was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Evelyn had a talent with many crafts, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and baking cookies. She loved browsing through cookbooks looking for delicious recipes.
Survivors include her son, Carl W. Fredd, and wife Janet of Livingston Manor; her daughter, Norma Cucci of Callicoon; seven grandchildren: Richard Cucci and wife Daryl of Callicoon; David Cucci of Callicoon; Nancy Cucci Milk and husband Telford of French Woods; Carlene Schwebe of Marion, NC; Kevin Fredd and wife Wendy of Streetsboro, OH; Thomas Cosgrove and wife Dawn of Grahamsville; Tricia Kortright of Kerhonkson; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Leslie Reynolds and Leonard Reynolds; and by her son-in-law, Ronald Cucci.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 5068 State Route 52, Jeffersonville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be held in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Roscoe Health Care Facility for the wonderful care and love shown to mother during her stay there.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.
