Jerome Everett Bullock

Jerome Everett Bullock passed away in Carson City, Nevada on August 26, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born on November 27, 1931 in Loch Sheldrake, New York to John and Kathryn Bullock.
Jerome lived in Loch Sheldrake most of his life, and was a Korean War Veteran. He was actively involved in the community as a member of the Loch Sheldrake Volunteer Fire Department for over 65 years, where he served every rank including Fire Chief and Fire Commissioner. He was instrumental in establishing the Loch Sheldrake Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and in raising funds for the construction of the Firemen’s Park. Jerome served as Councilmember to the Fallsburg Town Board for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying trapping, fishing, hunting, sport shooting, and golf.
Jerome graduated from Liberty High School and the NYS Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences at Binghamton. He worked for his family’s business, Bullock Automatic, for many years, and later served as a Sullivan County Board of Elections Commissioner.
Jerome married the love of his life Patricia Halm on May 22, 1954. After retiring, Jerome and Pat traveled and spent the next 11 years in Carson City, Nevada.
Jerome will be missed by his loving and dedicated wife of over 58 years, Pat; sons Randy Bullock, Bruce (Lauri) Bullock, Jerome Bullock Jr.; daughter Tracy ( Edward) Magie; grandchildren Trevor Bullock, Kadence (Fernando) Del Rey, Kinsey Bullock, Emily (Brian) Knapp, Lauren Magie, Jesse Bullock, Julie Bullock, Joshua (Brittany) Dame; Great grandchildren Peyton Knapp, Barrett & Brynn Dame; sisters Mary (Jack) Diana, Dawne (Lester) Norris; brother John (Charlotte) Bullock; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Babette Bullock.
It’s been said Jerome was an honorable man, a respected man, a kind man. And he was all of these to many people; the people whose lives he touched, and those who touched his.
Jerome’s life will be memorialized on Saturday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, Rt 52., White Sulphur Springs, NY. A Firematic Service will be held at the church at 2:45 p.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be held immediately following the services at the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY.

Frank W. Robisch, 85
Retired Dairy Farmer
Frank W. Robisch, a lifetime resident of Callicoon, died on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, Pa. He was 85 years of age.
A retired dairy farmer, Frank was born March 8, 1927 to the late Frank W. and Hattie Knack Robisch.
He was a past member of the Hortonville Fire Department, Cornell Cooperative Extension and Dairymen’s League.
Frank is survived by several cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by a sister and brother, Caroline and Charles Robisch.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 4, at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main Street, Callicoon, NY from 11 a.m. until noon. Services will be on Tuesday, September 4 at the funeral home at noon.
Burial will be in the North Branch Lutheran Cemetery, North Branch, New York.
