Louise Marie Kirk, 93
December 16, 1919 - April 2, 2013

Louise Marie Kirk of Liberty, NY, a lifelong area resident, passed quietly in her sleep on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 93.
The daughter of the late Edward and Wilhelmina Fritz Abplanalp, she was born December 16, 1919 in Briscoe, NY.
Louise had worked for Bernie Newman’s Shop in Liberty and later became the owner. She is a former member of the Liberty Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a former volunteer at the Liberty Methodist Church thrift shop, and she enjoyed playing the organ.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Kirk of Wilder, VT; one niece, Diane Kirk of FL; and four grandchildren, Heather, Douglas, Robert, and Joseph, all of CA.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William Campbell Kirk; one son, William George Kirk; and by her loving partner, Ellsworth “Bucky” Buck.
Graveside services and burial will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10AM in the Liberty Cemetery, Cold Spring Road, Liberty, NY.  The Rev. Francis Waite will officiate.

James Ambrose Ross
Formerly of Roscoe, 68

James Ambrose Ross, 68, a long time resident of Roscoe, NY died in Decatur, TN on May 11, 2013 from complications due to his battle with Cancer. His son Joel was by his side.
He was born February 05, 1945 on Dutch Hill in Roscoe, NY. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in April 1968.
Sons are James A. Ross with wife Jodie and daughter Jessica of Richlands, NC, and son Joel A. Ross with wife Becky and daughter Samantha of Decatur, TN.
Parents: Ambrose and Iona Ross (deceased). Brothers and sisters are Ed (deceased), Mike, Keith (deceased), Helena, Mary and Karen.
Private services will be held in his honor in Roscoe, NY.

Kathleen T. Armbrust passed away on January 28, 2013 in Lady Lake, Florida at the age of 81. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. George’s R.C. Church in Jeffersonville, NY. A celebration of her life will follow at the Kenoza Lake Fire Dept.
