Charlie’s Angels record a come-from-behind win
In a battle of unbeaten teams, Charlie’s Angels came from behind to defeat Cooper Paint.
Charlie’s Angels improved its record to 5-0 on the season, while Cooper Paint’s record dropped to 3-1.
After Charlie’s Angels took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, Cooper Paint countered by scoring four runs in the bottom of the first.
Cooper Paint scored its first two runs when Lori Brown and Jackie Litwak earned bases-loaded walks. Amanda Roberto crossed home plate with the tying run as Diana Sherman reached base on a fielder’s choice. Erin Shuart then reached base on a fielder’s choice, which allowed Brown to score and give Cooper Paint a 4-3 lead.
The lead didn’t last long, however, as Charlie’s Angels scored twice in the top of the second to grab a 5-4 advantage. Lisa Krom scored the tying run on an error and Sue Zieres crossed the plate with the go-ahead run when Robyn Gannon reached first base safely on a fielder’s choice.
