ROSCOE — June 18, 2010 — Last weekend marked the 100-year anniversary for Tennanah Lake Golf and Tennis Club, the oldest golf course in Sullivan County.
A two-day celebration at the club honored the century of business.
With a weekend full of events including live music from the Hendrickson’s and everything from face painting to free tennis lessons, Tennanah Lake staff deemed the event a success.
Tennanah Lake Golf and Tennis Club has always evolved with the times and continues to do so.
In addition to the gorgeous new catering hall, plans of building some high-end homes are in the works.
It is clear that the staff at Tennanah Lake is focused on achieving a personal relationship with their patrons.
“We want to create the best experience for our clients,” said General Manager Rob Allison.
“We aim to exceed their expectations so they will come back – we want them to come back,” he added.
“Our goal was to reach out to the local community, we wanted to showcase our new catering hall and facilities,” said Golf and Events Coordinator Shannon Bowers.
