MONTICELLO Tyler Foxwell has made history in the Monticello Little League as he recently became the first player who has been on four “D” Bracket winning champion All Star teams.
Foxwell, who just turned 13, won the championship at age 9 and 10 in the Minors and at age 11 and 12 in the Majors.
Foxwell has been playing baseball since he was 7 and is eager to continue. Tyler’s father, Clint Foxwell, has been his coach for the past two years in the Majors.
And while Tyler is very dedicated, sometimes practicing everyday, his parents, Clint and Doreen, are there to make sure he doesn’t over-do-it and hurt himself.
In the Monticello Little League, Foxwell was a pitcher and third baseman. But he hopes to play shortstop in high school.
Foxwell could add another championship to his resume this summer.
He plays in the Babe Ruth League out of Middletown and his team is currently undefeated.
