SULLIVAN COUNTY — The Delaware Valley American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) has scheduled several registration events for its upcoming 2011 fall season.
Those registration events will be held as follows:
Delaware Valley: 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 9 and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday April 30 at the Delaware Youth Center in Callicoon.
Hancock: 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at the Public Library on Read St. and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7 at the Little League Field on Park St.
Jeffersonville: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 at the Callicoon Town Hall on Legion St.
Livingston Manor: 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 9 and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 in the new gym hallway at Livingston Manor Central School
Roscoe: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3 and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5 at Roscoe Central School
Every child gets to play with AYSO. The organization provides positive coaching to balanced teams and strive to instill good sportsmanship in all players.
The early registration discount fee is $35. After May 7, the fee to play is $45.
Players must be 4 years old by July 31, 2011 or younger than 19 by that date.
Uniforms are required and can be purchased at sign-ups for $30. All towns and teams will travel. Teams play about eight games a season on Sunday afternoons and about half of those games are home games.
Volunteers are also needed for the program.
