Liberty Parks and Rec offers winter programs

LIBERTY December 24, 2013 The Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Department is currently holding registration for the following programs.
Pilates The class is taught on exercise mats and is appropriate for all levels. Mats are not provided. The class runs Mondays and Thursdays, December 16th- January 23rd, 5:30-6:30 p.m. It is held in the Liberty Senior Center. The registration fee for this class is $70 for Residents and $80 for Non-Residents.
Walking Is the weather getting to cold to walk outside? Come join the walking program which takes place in the halls of Liberty High School, every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. The program starts on January 7 and runs until March 27. There is a $10 fee for Liberty residents and a $20 fee for non-Residents.
CPR Training Class American Red Cross Training Program. Must pre-register and be at least 15 years old. CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers Class will be held on January 18 from 9 a.m.-3p.m. The registration fee is $75 for residents and $85 for non-Residents. CPR/AED Recertification Class will be held on January 25th or February 1st from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The registration fee is $60 for residents and $70 for non-residents.
Youth Basketball Boys and girls in grades 2-6 can join this program to learn the basic fundamentals of basketball. Program starts Saturday January 15 and runs from 9-11 a.m. Registration is $20 for Liberty residents and $30 for non-residents.
Arts and Crafts An after- school arts and crafts program for children in grades K-4th. This program is offered on Wednesdays after school from 3-5 p.m and will run January 15-February 19. The registration fee is $20 for Liberty residents and $30 for non-residents.
Skiing Skiing/Snowboarding/Snow Tubing at Holiday Mountain with discounted rates. Sundays, January 5-March 2. Hours are 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Ski ID’s cost $10. This is open to Liberty residents only.
