A Gorr-geous day in the Manor

LIVINGSTON MANOR — September 20, 2013 — Four different players scored goals to lead host Livingston Manor to a 4-1 non-league victory over Tri-Valley Wednesday on a beautiful mid-September day.
Manor’s Amy Calo scored the only goal of the first half. The Wildcats broke the game open in the second half behind goals by Fern Mills, Farrah Mills and Annaliese Gorr, who also added an assist.
Tri-Valley’s only goal came when a Manor defender kicked the ball into her own net.
For first-year coach and former Tri-Valley player Jennifer Gorr, the victory came against her former coach, Mary Feusner. Gorr’s girls are off to a 3-2 start and she likes what she sees so far.
“They’re a talented bunch, motivated and have a great support system,” said Gorr.
Tri-Valley fell to 0-3.
