Iline LaBolt
June 3, 1944 - January 17, 2013

Mrs. Iline LaBolt of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, born June 3, 1944 in Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully January 17, 2013 at Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton, PA.
Predeceased by her loving husband of over 30 years, Donald LaBolt Sr., she is now joyously at rest with him. She is predeceased also by her grandson, Ryan Michael Kratz.
Iline is survived by her 7 children: Leo Kratz Jr. and his wife, Robin, Charles Kratz and his wife, Rose, Willis Kratz and his wife, Kimberly, John Kratz and his wife, Tara, Frank Kratz and his wife, Kasey, Don LaBolt and his partner, Christina, and Iline LaBolt and her partner, John. Iline was blessed with 17 grandchildren who were all her greatest joy.
She also is survived by a sister, Verna Norman, who resides in Sussex, NJ. Iline was blessed with niece Lois Bleauskas who, especially in her final days, brought her much love, comfort and peace.
A private memorial service will be held in the late Spring.

Shirley Rudolph
December 21, 1935 - January 22, 2013

Shirley Rudolph, a long time resident of Woodridge, NY, and currently of Delray Beach, Florida, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 22, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was a longtime member of the Woodridge Kiwanis until her move to Florida, where she became a member and then board member of the Huntington Lakes Boomers and Cancer Care. She was an ardent animal lover and loyal advocate of various rescue organizations. She never met a cause to which she didn’t make a contribution.
Shirley was born in New York City on December 21, 1935 the daughter of Philip and Lillian Pilez Feldman.
She was a retired secretary for the Fallsburg School District for over 25 years, where she forged many friendships that continue to this day.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Gardell and her husband Stephen of Brooklyn; her beloved grandson, Blake Kilcoin of Woodridge; grandchildren, Heather Kilcullen and her husband Tommy of Marlboro, NJ, and Stephen Gardell Jr. and his wife Josephine of Staten Island; her great-grandchildren: Cassandra, Griffin, Mara and Derek; and her brother, Leo Feldman and his wife Sylvia of Silver Spring, Md.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Gerald “Bull” Rudolph and her daughter, Melanie Rudolph.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc., 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Rabbi Irving Goodman officiated.
Burial was made in the Workman Circle #281 Cemetery, Marsh Rd in Glen Wild, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Sullivan and Orange County, Inc., 800 Stonybrook Ct., Newburgh, NY, 12550, or your local chapter of the A.S.P.C.A.
The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Daniel and Mona Ingber in South Fallsburg, New York, after the funeral on Thursday till one hour before sundown on Friday.

Ralph V. Calkin Jr., 82
August 6, 1930 - January 23, 2013

Ralph V. Calkin Jr. of Cochecton, NY, a lifelong resident, passed away at home with his wife by his side on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was 82.
He was born in Cochecton, NY, on August 6, 1930 to the late Ralph and Anita Lounsbury Calkin.
Ralph was married for 55 years to Edna Klein Calkin, who survives. Ralph was a retired poultry farmer, well-driller and dynamiter. He was the former Town Supervisor of Cochecton, former Chairman of Cochecton Planning Board, member and former secretary of Red Fox Game Preserve.
Ralph was a private pilot and had his own plane at one time. He enjoyed his many trips to Alaska fishing as well as antelope hunting and pheasant hunting out west and moose hunting in Newfoundland and Maine. He had wonderful times rabbit hunting with his buddy, Art, and his first hunting dog, Spotty, and his many other wonderful beagles. His ancestors go back many years and fought the Indians at Minisink Ford. A town is named after them in Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; his brother-in-law, Walter Klein; cousin Fay Dowling and her husband Kevin; his dog named Snoopy; and his cat named Dirt Bag.
A special thanks for caring and support to: Pauline Hofer-Johnson, and the members of Red Fox Game Preserve and his many friends during his two year illness.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg, NY.
A funeral service will follow visitation on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lake Huntington Presbyterian Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Red Fox Game Preserve, Cochecton, NY.

Evalyn Brace
Retired Bookkeeper, 91

Evalyn M. Brace, a lifelong resident of Liberty, entered into rest on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 91.
The daughter of the late Harry and Florence Young, she was born on January 4, 1922 in Liberty, NY. Evalyn was a retired bookkeeper for Alan Gerry.
Her family will always remember her strength and the love she shared with them.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Brehm and her husband Jack of Sparrowbush, and Janice Smith and her husband Bill of Liberty; her son, Ronald Brace of Liberty; grandchildren, Jackii Sepanek, John Brehm and his wife, Joanne, Joanne Smith, and Billy Smith and his wife Cindy; great-grandchildren, Michael Sepanek, John and Tim Brehm, and Hayden and Brycen Smith. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Brace, and her sister, Jeanette MacNair.
The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at the nursing home where she spent her last months. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and staff of 5 East at Catskill Regional Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed Mom and our family during her illness.
Graveside services will be held at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd., Liberty on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1 p.m. Ginny Bossley will officiate.
